Workshop Handouts

Linked below are handouts that may assist you in the research process and with using some of the suggested resources discussed in your library workshop.

Choosing a Topic

You were given a list of topics to choose from for this assignment.  (see assignment link to the left)

In other classes you may be allowed to choose a topic on your own to research and write about.  If you are ever enrolled in a class where you are choosing your own topic for reseach and you have a hard time coming up with one you like, the library is here to help you.  We purchase books that list topics for research papers.  Take a look at one of the books below in your campus library.  Please click on the title for the location of the item within the library.  If you cannot make it in to the library, visit one of the sites listed on the file linked above called "Using Internet Sources to Select a Topic."

Workshop Survey

What did you think of the workshop you received in class that introduced HGTC Library's course related resources?  Let us know your thoughts!  Click on the link below to take a 10 question survey about the workshop.  The survey should take only 3-4 minutes to complete.

Thank you!
